Jon Owens
LEAD PASTOR
Having grown up in the Old Northside of Downtown Indy, Pastor Jon's heart for the life and diversity of the Circle City came early and honest. Whether while volunteering at the Indianapolis Children's Museum, participating in the various arts communities like the Indianapolis Children's Choir or Asante Art Institute, or working a range of jobs at the Circle Centre Mall, he fell in love with the people of the city...from Avon to Arlington...from Lawrence to Lafayette...from Tibbs to Tech.
After 16 years serving as a worship arts pastor in TN, NC, and FL, Pastor Jon, his wife Kelley, and their 5 children returned to his hometown to plant City of Lights Church. As a life-long creative, songwriter, and storyteller, Pastor Jon is deeply passionate about utilizing various artistic mediums to communicate the narrative of the Gospel. He graduated from Lawrence Central High School, received his Bachelors Degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Religion from Florida State University, and attended the Every Nation Leadership Institute in Nashville, TN.
